Hematuria

Hematuria is blood in the urine. The blood most commonly is not able to be seen with the naked eye and only under a microscope. Rarely one can have blood in the urine that is clearly visible. Urine tests can check for blood in the urine which can be caused by many different reasons with kidney or bladder disease being some of the most common causes. Hematuria is also very commonly seen in Glomerular Disease. Please refer to the Glomerular Disease section for more information.
