End Stage Renal Disease/Dialysis
End Stage Kidney Disease or End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) is the most advanced stage of chronic kidney disease. With ESRD the kidneys have severely failed and are unable to perform their necessary functions, such as waste removal from the blood. When one progresses to or develops ESRD they require dialysis which is a life sustaining therapy that can be best tailored to suit your lifestyle and particular needs. Your nephrologist can discuss all forms of dialysis, including dialysis that can be done at home for some patients.
Our team of physicians, nurses, and staff make this transition to dialysis as seamless as possible at our onsite dialysis unit located in the same building as our medical office.
